what to bring

Plan for a day at the park (sunscreen, bug spray, etc.) Bring anything you’d enjoy for a day outside (volleyball, fishing pole, bikes). Our group’s pavilion is covered and has picnic tables.

SCHEDULE

1:00 PM

Picnic Begins

We’ll be set up at the pavilion with picnic food and drinks. Games, playground, bathrooms, and volleyball courts are here.

2:00 PM

Food Truck Opens

Eat whenever you’re hungry and as much as you like. Our food truck from Chico’s Tex Mex will be serving til 6pm.

3:00 PM

a quick toast

We’ll gather for a quick toast to celebrate together.

4:00 PM

Ice Cream Truck Arrives

Soft serve, sundaes, and ice pops!

6:00 PM

After the Picnic

Food trucks end around 6:00 PM, but feel free to hang out as long as you like.

Join us at our campsite for a campfire and s’mores. Please leave your vehicle in the main parking lot by the pavilion and walk over to Campsite #21.

Interested in staying overnight? Campsite reservation information is below.

pavilion 🥪

We’ll be set up at the pavilion for the picnic. The playground, bathrooms, and volleyball courts are all nearby.

camping 🏕️

Kenny, Nicole, and Chicky are camping at the park Saturday night. It’s optional, but we’d love for you to join! You can reserve a campsite through Suffolk County Parks.

CAMPING INFORMATION

beach 🏖️

There’s a nice beach at the park if you want to relax or swim (lifeguards may or may not be on duty). It’s a city-walker’s 15 min walk from the pavilion, or a 2 min drive.

Dogs 🐶

The park is dog-friendly ❤️ Non-vicious leashed dogs are welcome at the park, but they are not permitted on the beach.

Please keep your dog under control at all times and be mindful of other dogs and children running around.
